"Fun in the Dark.Light up your Eyes" Art Life Experience 2010
Thanks for the fully support from the main sponsor – Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation and the venue sponsor – K11 Art Mall, PolyVision and Dialogue in the Dark proudly presented "Fun in the Dark.Light up your Eyes" Art Life Experience in November 2010 at K11 Stage of the Arts. The tour and gallery are purposed to allow the participants to experience life without sight, and the use of other senses when vision is impaired. Through this experience, participants will have more understanding for those who are visually impaired and better awareness of the importance of vision and eyecare. All the revenue from tickets and charity sales are donated to "Dialogue in the Dark (HK) Foundation" for helping those who are visually impaired to develop to their full potential.
World Sigh Day – Cheers for Elderly Vision 2008
In support of the World Sight Day, PolyVision and the Senior Citizen Home Safety Association jointly organized an eyecare charity event at Metro City Plaza I on 9 October 2008, sponsored by the Sunlight REIT (Henderson Sunlight Asset Management Limited). An eyecare seminar had been held to raise the public's awareness to aging-related eye problems and the importance of eye checkup. In addition, 100 elderly were invited to enjoy a comprehensive eye examination provided by PolyVision under sponsorship of the Sunlight REIT.
Central and Western District Health Festival 2008-09 – Vision Screening
Commissioned by the Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong, PolyVision provided vision screening to more than 500 citizens at the Sheung Wan Sports Centre on October 1 and October 2, 2008. Our optometrists were eager to explain the screening results and answered all questions about vision and eyecare. PolyVision was pleased to participate in this meaningful event which helps to raise the awareness of ocular health among the general public.
World Sight Day – Vision for Children 2007
Sharing the same objective as the event “World Sight Day – Vision for Children” dated 11 October 2007, PolyVision worked with the Boys’ & Girls’ Club Association of Hong Kong to offer comprehensive eye examination to children from low income families so as to arouse the public’s attention to children vision problems and highlight the importance of children eyecare.
